Deleting my ex off of Facebook. Does it help?

So I've been trying to move on from my ex. However everytime I log onto Facebook there's a new update about his new girl. It hurts. I'm torn. I want to keep him as a friend just so I can post pictures and prove to him that I'm better off without him but I want to defriend him so I won't see his new girl. What should I do?

I defriended my ex and now it sucks. It just seems immature too. We should be able to walk away from relationships and be okay because chances are you'll find someone else. I really liked creeping on my ex and now I can't. Don't defriend!

Don't follow his feed. You can be friends and if you unsubscribe from his feed and don't stalk his page you'll be okay.
