Is this a Facebook glitch?

So I haven't been on Facebook for a few weeks and the Facebook app wouldn't work so I got on Safari and it showed I had like 11 friend request. Then I got on with my computer because I saw an ex in the list and it showed I didn't have any. Then I looked at his profile on safari and it asked me if I wanted to respond to his request and I clicked accept and now we're friends. The last time on Facebook was about 3 weeks ago on the computer and it didn't show he tried to add me. So does this mean he sent me the request within these three weeks or could it have been from a long time ago? I'm still in love with him if you can't tell lmao
