FB won't let me change my picture's audience.?

When I hover my mouse over the little gear icon, it just says You can change the audience for the photos or something like that. I've tried clicking it and I bunch of other things. I don't want to change each and every photo's audience individually. What should I do? Because of this I've already removed all my personal pictures, but it's still annoying that I'd have to send my pictures to all my friends individually to share.

I'm assuming you're using timeline album?
Just create albums and post your pics there, that way you can have them private with no worries!
