How can I post on a facebook wall without my friends seeing it?

I need to ask a question on a bands facebook page, but when I do, it will tell all my friends I did that, and I don't want anyone to see it. They will think I am weird. How can I make sure they don't see it?

When you post it, press the little button and change it so "Only you" can see it.

when you are posting on someone else's page, you do not have control over that

When you post something on facebook wall, or like some picture and want to hide it from others, you go to your profile page (not your wall), and look for "Activity" tab there, open that and you will be able to see all your activities there. On the far right of the activity you will see a pencil icon or a dot click on it and check the options. There will be a option "Hidden on timeline" click that and that activity will be gone from timeline.
