should america go to are political system?
american two party system liberals like main british political parties and republicans more right wing party which is against stem cell research , abortion , gay marriage and anything god hates

in britain we have 3 main parties conservative party (in power now ) , labour and the liberal democrats

conservative party : in power now Centre-right party which can be loosely divided into three categories, though with considerable overlap: The Thatcherites or Conservative Way Forward, who strongly support a free market and tend to be Eurosceptic, the economically moderate, often more europhile but socially conservative One Nation Conservatives, and the socially conservative, deeply Eurosceptic Cornerstone Group.

labour party-Liberal although rarely liberal, radical centrist and socially progressive; strongly support greater European integration. Promotes social liberalism; opposing what they call the 'nanny state', while supporting the welfare state for the basic necessities of life. The party's main two factions are the social-liberal grouping, and the dominant economic liberal 'Orange Book' grouping.

lib dems - lib dem deputy prime minister through co-allision Centre-left; a big tent social-democratic party historically allied with the trade union movement; platform is based upon mixed market Third Way policies since the party's reinvention as New Labour in 1994, while maintaining democratic-socialist MPs and Left-wing factions within the party such as the Socialist Campaign Group; generally supports greater Pro-Europeanism.

there are also smaller parties to like BNP green party plaid cymru ( want welsh independance )
and others
also in america you get a choice of 2 candidates i don`t realy like romney or obama but if i had to choose i`d vote romney and if you want any of them to be president you don`t vote but in britain anyone can start they own political party (probably won`t ever get elected ) if you don`t like any of the parties
@killintimer i said 3 main parties there a more but they don`t get many votes

This would require complete scrapping of our Constitution and our Federal system. Won't happen.

Despite the fact that it won't happen, I believe a multi-party parliamentary system would be much better. By the way, your system does not automatically mean 3 parties. It just encourages more than 2 parties.

America is a Continent. The United States of America is a nation with a political system that was based on the British system. Our is a possesive form of to have. Are is a plural form of to be.
