question about a facebook post on my wall...?

my friend posted a birthday message to my wall today. it was super sweet and I loved it, but she also attached a photo that I absolutely hate of the two of us. is there a way that i can delete the picture but not the original post? thanks!

No way.
What you can do is just hide the whole post in your Timeline (but with this way, it's still on your friends Newsfeed) or change the Audience Setting of that post to Only Me, so no other friends can see it anywhere.
