Can my wife (a Social Worker) get a sponsor for a H1B in Orange County, California?
I have a H1B by my own, but my wife also wants to work ... we have time to get prepared for that, 12, 18 months.
Supposing she has a BS certified title by the council of social work of USA ...
Would be a H1B really hard to get?
Is that common? Or not likely to happen?
What else would she need to get inserted into the Job market in the Orange County, California area?
(She would be speaking English and Spanish)
Thanks!

Not likely to happen. H1B visas are for difficult to fill jobs.
At this time in Orange County, for every social work position advertised there are probably 500 applicants.

Not if HR3012 passes in teh Senate- it would remove per country visa caps, so your wife won't get one while all the india and china outsourcers do.
