Facebook : How do I know ?

How do I know if a friend on Facebook has made me an acquaintance on their list ? Will I not be able to see their stuff ? Will they not appear in my friends lists ? How do I know ?

You search him up and +Friend him if you are not Friends already.

I don't think you can find that out unless you asked them personally. I'm pretty sure you can still see their stuff, but they may not be able to see your posts unless it's considered "important". They didn't block you or unfriend you so the person will still appear in your Friends list.

An acquaintance is just someone you know but aren't close to, which is why I'm thinking this setting would only make it so that your friend doesn't see your everyday posts.
