Boyfriend and girlfriend not on facebook?

Me and my boyfriend used to be friends on facebook, but I was jealous over the silliest things and decided to defriend him. He was like what why? At first but I felt it was the best to build trust and besides facebook isn't such a big deal. Now it has been a year and He makes his posta public and mine as as well but we dont have each other as friends and we are fine with it. We don't even have relationship statuses it is blank.he only has sexual orientation like it says "interested in women" but that is obviously normal. It is just people comment on my relationship and say it is weird we aren't friends if we are in a loving relationship....do you think it is weird?

Yea its weird..like its like u dont havr enougj trust to be friends on fb and let ppl know ur together
