How long does it take approx to receive the email to download facebook data?

i receive an automatic email saying i will receive it shortly when it available, however it has been over a month and had nothing.

how long have other people waited for this?

Check your spam or junk email folder. Usually, if you have waited more than a day - either resubmit the request or check where suggested.
