Question in regards to friend request on facebook?
Hi, I want to send a friend request to someone I know on facebook but the add friend icon doesn't appear on their profile only send message option appears. Is this issue with facebook or what? Please answer guys thanks.

no some people change settings so only friends can add them. send them a message

That is due to the privacy settings set up, you can message that person to add you instead.
