If you don't set anything, in broad & general sense, yes!

But then there're more than one 'like', and there are many different 'other people'. And the explanation to it can be as a booklet long, even a short stories, with more than one chapter.

Depends. If some one close friended u, then yea then can see it in newsfeed. Or else they can see it in Ticker.

If you like a page , it doesnt instantly show it , itll pop up when they post something , but if you like photos most of the time it does show you liked it....

It depends on your settings, if they are set to friends only then friends will see what you liked, if set to "only me" then only you will see it. You can always check "don't show in newsfeed".
