what does the mobile logo mean?

Ok so when I am on face book most friends have the green dot, even my friend who only talks via mobile. But some have a mobile logo. However if I message them usually for later they hit reply straight away and micheal even just suddenly gets the green logo.

The Mobile logo is obviously referring to the fact that the person is on their mobile as you have stated.

The reason it goes from mobile to green really quickly after sending a message is that Facebook can not decipher whether you are posting from your mobile or computer (normally both devices are connected to have this problem). It's nothing to worry about and not really a concern to anyone.
