Turn off retweets on twitter?

Is there a way to turn off all retweets on twitter? I follow a lot of people and while I am interested in the stuff they tweet, they do retweet a lot of crap from their followers.

I don't want to unfollow them, I realise I can turn off retweets for each person I follow individually, but is there an option to just not see any retweets?
The answer from "Jess" is an example of someone not reading the question/ being incredibly dumb. I'm well aware how to turn off retweets for one specific person but I dont want to have to do this individually for 2000 people.

Yes you can, if you go on their profile and you click the button next to the follow button it comes up with a list and turn off retweets is on it!
