Ok so how can I "not defriend" someone on FB but have them think I did? Is there a way too?

You can block them from viewing your statuses and accesing things you post under your news feed

Temp block is not available in Facebook. When you post status hide from that person using audience selector.

It si Very Easy...
just select person who you does not want see select his/her post right side corner icon then click i dnt want to see this then click hide all post from xyz person
next change your online status of that person to offline....
it is very easy try it..... good luck
