i disabled m ahoo account, now i cant get in m facebook

I know someone whose Yahoo! account was deleted due to inactivity and they were unable to use Facebook because of it. I'm not entirely sure on how they fixed it, but I think they had to create a new Yahoo! account with the old account's username.
