Bullying me on twitter?

So I checked my roommate's twitter account to find that most of her tweets are about me. Although she doesn't say my name, it's obvious that she's talking about me. Calling me weird, annoying, an idiot, and just being incredibly rude. I'm a really nice, shy and sensitive person, so things like that really hurt my feelings.. I never did ANYTHING mean to her..
Why are people like this? What should I do?

Confront her. Ask her about what was on her Twitter calmly. If she says that it's about you, tell her how rude it is, and ask her why, and let her know how you feel. Cyberbullying is still just as serious, so..
