I go by this logic; I'm out when I want to be, and otherwise it's no one's business. Be yourself, everything will be alright Smile

I have the exact situation. I'm gay and out but I have to hide it from my parents. Maybe you can get a girlfriend, but pretend you still are seeing your current bf

The difficulty with having a secret is that as soon as one other person knows it, it's no longer a secret. Especially with social media today. So it's a difficult balancing act. One thing to protect yourself is not to distribute any pictures of yourself to anyone so they cannot be placed on the Internet. Eventually your family will have to know and it's best if it comes from you, but you are the only one who can decide on when that time is.
Good luck.

Get 2 social media accounts, 1 for your family and those who don't know, and 1 for real life.
NOT lea 1 and lea 2.
