How can I stop having everything that I post in a Facebook group show up on peoples news feeds.?

If I post something on this Facebook group, everyone on my friends list can see it on their news feed - even if they're not part of the group,, How can I stop this?

Set your posts to Private or Just Friends maybe?

there is no way to stop it - that's what facebook is for - sharing your activities with your friends

but your friends will only see your posts in the group if the group is a public group, something that you cannot control if you arent the admin of the group

the only remaining option is to add people to your restricted list if you dont want them seeing your activities

but then they wont see your status updates or anything else either then
