How do I add someone on facebook who doesn't know me?

I am trying to get a hold of a guy on facebook and he won't accept my request. I need to talk to him about a certain video game he developed, but he keeps declining the request. And I don't want to pay $1 just to message him. How would I post on his wall, or somehow get him to check his "Other" inbox?

If he won't friend the only option is to message really. You could try find him on other social networking sites?

you can message with your specific request or you can get a mutual friend to do that for you.
