How to convince my parents to let me get a Facebook?

My parents won't let me get a Facebook because they dont "want me out there" and thats practically the only reason and it frustrates me because i have an instagram, and my parents sometimes are worried about what i post? But whats the difference! facebook is more private! i do not know how to get them to allow me how to have one. I've told them i could put it on private and im reply they said hackers. Its really frustrating cuz all my friends have one and thats all they talk about! I find it unfair and i don't know what to do. How can I convince them to let me have a Facebook?

Ok, here's what I did. I went to the library to do my homework one day. As soon as i was finished I went to facebook and created my own account. My parents found out. At first they were super mad and asked me to delete it but as soon as i showed them my friends, they didn't say a word and just let me use it.
