If you want to have that on your desktop then you need to create a shorcut pointing to facebook.
1 - right click your desktop
2 - click new and choose shortcut
3 - In the field for location type https://www.facebook.com/
4 - Click next
5 - Type "Facebook" for shortcut name
6 - click finish
