Can Admins do the same the actual "creator" of Facebook group can do?
Does the creator of the group still have some sort of superiority? Or can Admins do the exact same thing he/she can do? Say the creator hasn't tuned in on the group for a long time, will the Admins still be running the whole thing?

yes, admins can kick out the creator and take over the group if that's what you are asking

that's why you never make someone an admin if you dont know the person in real life

Equal power. Actually the admins can take over so if you haven't been on on awhile you may not belong to that group any longer.
