bluntly asking coworking on facebook?

So ive been interning for about 2 months now, I have been seeing this girl around work and I finally got her name, but i was wondering would it be creepy to bluntly ask to be her friend on facebook? and if so, would it be even creepier to say, i think you are cute and wanted to add you on facebook, she knows who i am so it be as blunt.

Strike up a conversation with her first. If you just ask to be her facebook friend without having spoken more than a few words to her it will be really obvious and creepy. Talk to her at least twice before asking her if she is on facebook and just casually say "hey well then I will look you up later". Don't tell her she is cute and ask to facebook friend her that is creepy.
