I accidentally liked a facebook status?

So my sister told me she was having troubles with her ex and she said his status and things he shared made her sad bc he's with a new girl and she asked me if I saw it and I said no so I decided to check it out and I accidentally liked one status and then I unliked it right away but will it still show up on other people's news feeds? And I have a boyfriend and I don't want him to think different things and I everything else about liking things on facebook not just the newsfeeds please help!
