If I block someone on Instagram and Facebook, will it look like I "deleted my profiles"?
I gave my information to someone I probably shouldn't have and now I don't want them on my social media because they're slightly annoying. Would I be able to block them and then use the excuse that I deleted it if we have no friends in common?

If they really wanted to, they will still be able to determine whether your account has been deleted or not, by searching for you using another account.
