How do I talk to a girl on Facebook that I know from my old school?

Ok so there's a girl I like that went to my old school about 3 years ago. I have been speaking to her, but I want to start conversations instead of small talk, and I eventually want it to lead into real life after a while. How can I start conversations and what are the best things to say? Also I'm 14.

Just expand on the small talk.
"How was your day?"
"Good, I went to _____"
"Oh, how was the ____?"
then blah, blah. Then eventually when both of you are comfortably talking you can mention that you want to hang out with her or something. And ask her when she is free.
Don't be creepy though.. in general.

Say to her on FB what you would say to her face to face.

Better still why don't you meet her socially instead of relying on a keyboard.

You can't read body language or experience body chemistry on a web site!

Don't know really what your age has got to with it either!
