What does the cell phone icon mean on Facebook?
Often times near the cell phone icon , there's a number indicating how many hours its been since the person hasn't been online or on chat. But what does it mean when it's just the cell phone icon with no number? Does this mean that they haven't been online I a while or if they just haven't been on chat?

It just means that the person is on Facebook but on their cell phone. But the Facebook app keeps you logged in all the time, so they may or may not be available even though it says they are.

Icon means the person has been online from last so many hours even if they are available or not. Facebook keep running on phone and shows time until one logout from it.

The cell phone icon is the Facebook Messenger app that can be downloaded and installed on cell phones and tablets.
If there is no number next to the icon, it just means that they have the app installed on their phone or tablet. |
