Why isn't twitter app working?

I typed in my username right and password right then it said that it can't be authenticated at the time and it said my username or password it wrong which is false because then I when online and typed it in and it worked I just don't know why it's doing this and if anyone else has had this problem and can tell me how to fix it please and thank u ahead

Is your phone connect to internet? Twitter need internet to send the data to its database to see if you are registered and what your username/pass is.

Have you tried deleting the twitter app and re-installing or restarting the devices?
Social Network sites have many bugs and errors that can be sorted shortly. Also, try disconnecting from your network and reconnecting, although, you may as well just restart your devices and hit 2 birds with one stone
As of right now, my Twitter seems to work fine, so it must be something on your end.
If the problem seems to persist, try and load twitter up on another device. That way, it must be something to do with your devices, although the chances that both devices are faulty is veeeeery slim.
