Why does facebook make me log in twice?

For the past month or two now every single time I log onto facebook on my computer this is what happens...I type in my email & password and hit enter. The page reloads, like I didn't log in it's just the sign in page. Then I log in again and it signs me in except it takes me to a page that says "sorry blahblah" can't remember exactly. I can still access my messages and all of that but why does this happen?

Anymore I just log in once and hit the back back and it logs me in and I don't have the sorry message but it's annoying.

Interesting. Often does much the same to me. I enter and the sign in page asks me to enter my password a second time. My guess is that it is asking for confirmation!

Well, I guess the problem is due to cookies. Go to your browser's cookies option and clear all cookies (and cache also if possible).
If this doesn't work, you may report to facebook. All you have to do is, take a good screen shot and go fb reporting page and upload pics and say whats you problen.
