what should I do this is really embarrassing?

earlier on I was using facebook on my phone and by mistake (without me knowing) I must have pressed add friend on someone (this girl I went to school with). I hate using my phone for this reason because I press on so many things by mistake, actually I don't press that's the problem, because it's a flat screen.
Anyway just now it said this girl accepted my friend request I was like what! And for some stupid reason, I pressed unfriend, not because I didn't want to be her friend but because I was so embarrassed, like I thought she would be like why did she add me? (we barely talked)
Anyway now I feel really bad because I de-friended her I should have just left her as my friend, what does it matter? but I just got embarrassed or something.
I want to add her again but what can I say?
it's so obvious what I did..arghhh!!

Easy.

Tell her you were on Facebook, through your phone, and by accident you pressed de-friend without realizing. Or that you thought you were de-friending somebody else.

Just add her again with a message, saying what you did. Everyone gets messed up this all this technology. Besides you might get on better know. My best friend I went to school with but didn't speak at school it was only until afterwards.
