Proxies at school????
Alright lets get this out of the way right now

"You're at school to learn not play."
"The school put up blocks for a reason"

Alrighty let's get real. I don't learn jack $hit at my school and when I do it's usually either pointless or stuff I learned in elementary school. I hate it when people say "Oh at least this school doesn't have a lot of work." THAT'S THE POINT!! Yes, you are supposed to be learning in school, but I don't, so how else do you expect me to pass the time?

The school put up blocks for a reason? Yes because it's full of controlling, conformist b@$tards. They got 2 students suspended for something that happened off campus after school hours.

You're answer of "It's pointless" Isn't going to change my mind, so unless you want to say it for the sake of saying it, please keep it to yourself.

I just need a proxy to get on Facebook and into my Gmail (Yes... -_- Gmail is really blocked)
MIGHT I ADD WINDOWS FAMILY SAFETY IS ON THESE COMPUTERS. We had iPads last year and they cost less than these computers (#SMH my school is already in the red for money. Search the Fresno Bee website for ACEL Fresno) I think they only switched to computers for more control.
@Jerry H

Get a job you useless jerk instead of being an asshole on Yahoo! Answers.

Check out: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/newdailyproxies

... But I would not type down my password on a proxy server, this stuff goes straight through other people, and you are pretty much inviting them into your account.

Haha, Windows Family Safety.. Sounds -- safe.. Thats not what I mean, bro.
When you are using a proxy, everything you send goes through someone else. Its like, Facebook can hack your facebook account whenever they want, because you are - everytime you log in - giving them your login information. The information you are giving Facebook goes through the proxy you are using aswell, so that Hacker John from Texas US can log in with the stuff you give him, and virtually become Emily Danielson. Dont you learn this stuff at school?

Nice to see todays youth recognizing the failing state system, school does suck and is indeed a conformist factory, but thats another issue. Now as to your solution.

World Dominator M has a point, sort of. With a proxy you're vulnerable to attacks from the exit node and traffic interception between you and the modem. Although it's not fool proof, an addon such as https everywhere will wrap transmissions in an SSL layer which gives a bit more protection from these sorts of attack, still shouldn't really trust proxies with log-in information however.

As for you problem, the simplest solution is to access site with ixquicks proxy, which is trustworthy enough and easily accessible, just use it like a search engine but click the proxy option to connect to the site: https://www.ixquick.com/

Another solution is the ever love-able Tor Browser Bundle, just download to USB, plug it in at school and you should be good to go, read through the documentation as you may need to connect via bridge to bypass the school firewall which often prevents direct access to proxies: https://www.torproject.org/
