why cant i use tags on instagram?

For the past month I cannot use tags on instagram.. When I post a photo and put a tag in it, the comment on the photo has the tag in it and you can click it but when you click on the tag my photo is not in the list of other photos... It doesnt actually categorize my photo so other people can find them.. Anyone know a fix for this?
Also my posts/account is not private, when I go to edit profile, and look at the bottom where it says "Posts are Private" it's grey and says "Off".

I do! I had the same problrm.It's very easy.

You have "Contac Instagram for problems" or something like that, and fill in the form/complain. It's very easy.I'm a 25 year old girl I figured it our.I'm sure you will too.Haha.Good luck!
