Facebook location "near somewhere" on status?

Hi there just got a new phone the Sony experia Z and it's a change from the iPhone I've had for years and have downloaded the Facebook app.
When I used to update my status it used to say "near maryport" in small letters underneath (I live in a town called maryport) now it's gone and I'd like to turn it back on without "checking in" anywhere specific.
I hope this makes sense but I have no idea where the setting is to change it on the app or elsewhere?
Can anyone help?
All my location settings on the actual phone are turned on including the GPS settings etc

In your Android location settings menu, you may need to enable "Google Wifi & mobile network location". Or enable the GPS, but that will use more battery.
