My Facebook ticker is gone. How do I get it back?

Create an Event and then return to your home page. This will bring it back.

Its Back again...
One needs to zoom to fit the page (100%) or zoom out a bit more in order to see it, which makes the fonts tiny :/
And zooming in the page excludes it!
What the hell....!
