Cookies required on Facebook... This is really weird?
So this morning I logged in my Facebook account, checked my fan page and noticed that there were some new "likes". I clicked to see the detail when this problem happened.
My account automatically logged out. My first reaction, of course was to re-log in. Then I was prompted that "Cookies required. Cookies are not enabled on your browser. Please enable cookies in your browser preferences to continue." So I did what seems right about enabling cookies. I went to IE-Tools-Internet Options-Privacy-Settings, moved the slider to the bottom to allow all cookies. Then went to General and cleared browsing data, history, cookies, etc. Strange thing was, after these, I was able to use Facebook on Chrome, but on IE (I was using IE8) the problem still remained. If I tried to log in my Facebook account on IE8, I would be prompted to enable cookies again, which I already did. I tried some other methods. I restarted my computer. Hell I even reinstalled IE8. None of those worked. Please don't tell me just to use Chrome. I need to use IE for some reason. I've looked everywhere but couldn't find the solution so I came here to look for some help. Your answer will be very much appreciated. Ads |
