Is Instagram REALLY able to sell your photos?
I've heard rumors everywhere and the answers are evenly mixed on google and different things on whether they can or not and I wanna know the REAL answer before its to late. IS Instagram gunna be able to take your pictures and sell them as they please?

No, Instagram won't sell your photos. They intend to put in-image ads (which they have the full right to do since they are a free service.) This is a new trend in advertising since static ads just aren't as effective anymore. You won't notice any change. Instagram just worded it incorrectly/poorly.

They wanted to, but there was a big back lash, and lawsuits being filled out against Instagram. With their new terms and conditions they made, it is now against Instagram to be able to sell peoples photos. Co-founder of Instagram also sent out a message to users saying they wont. So, from what we know Instagram can't sell users photos, but from all we know they might be lying.

no. Instagram had released a statement saying there was a misunderstanding in the terms and conditions as they were not written properly. What they're doing is promoting accounts like businesses etc. by taking a photo of there and using it in their ads.
