I left my facebook open at work and someone posted a status on it. Is this illegal?

I work in hospitality so the computers are only used for recreation during our break. We are not required to log in. Is it illegal for someone to write a status if I accidently left my fb account open?

It depends on the intent on the intent of what was posted. If they went onto Facebook thinking they were logged onto their own profile or if they aren't computer savvy, then its your fault for being negligent. However, if their posting something pretending to be you or with the intent to berate/insult/criticize you then its absolutely illegal.
