Should I send her another facebook message?

There's this girl I'm trying to get closer to on Facebook, but during our last conversation I was the last one to send a message and suddenly got no response during the conversation. Should I try and message her again, or should I just take her not responding as a sign that she's not worth the time? I always end up giving up too easily though, so I kind of want to go through with messaging her, but I don't wanna seem desperate. Any advice?
