well i think it is 4000 to 5000 but if you add too much friends like lets say you send 20 requests a day then after a few days then yo are likely to get blocked for sometime so i recommend to not send request too quick to people i know this wasnt what you ask for but i just wanted to give you a little more explantion of frinds so that you dont add poeple too quick. hop it helped

There is no limit. But too many friends means is a crowd of which each friend becomes only a negligible part.

5000 is the limit, but if you even attempt to get that many, facebook will suspend your account now, because you will get marked as a spammer
