How to get people to follow me on twitter?

How can I get more people to follow me on twitter cuz i only hav 2 followers at the moment. Even if its people i dont know cuz i dont put any personal stuff on there.

1. Post quality content using correct grammar.
2. Update your Twitter status at least 10 times a day.
3. Follow companies/people that interest you, and ask for them to follow you back.
4. When someone that you follow tweets something, and you have an opinion on it, send a reply back. Again, use correct grammar.
5. Fill out your Twitter profile. Include a picture of yourself and change the background to something other than the Twitter default. If you have a website, include the link to it on your profile.

Why do you need people to follow you on Twitter? This is not a rhetorical question. If you are planning to use Twitter for business stuff, it makes sense to have more followers, but if you are going to just, um, well, you know, write your daily routine there, what difference does it make whether you have 2 followers or 2000?

You could join # conversations that are of interests for you. For example, if you like a band or something, many times, saying something with #bandname will have random people responding to you, people who like that same thing you do. You can also go on the search bar and search #somethingyoulike and jump in on conversations. But, BE CAREFUL. Watch if you're not intruding in a conversation between two BFFs, and, rather, you're joining a group discussion about a topic

I'm assuming you're a teenager. Which is why I suggested this rather than business pages. Other than that, tell your Facebook friends via status. Also, on Twitter, you have the option of searching for Friends. You can search for your email or FB and follow them first, so, they can follow you back

As a newbie... it's normal that it's a bit difficult to find followers. But I have here tips that can help you...

1. Follow - If you don't have friends with twitter then the first thing you need to do is to follow people base on the interests.

2. Profile - If you can see other twitter accounts, they have different and unique designs. You can also do it on your profile and make it look attractive to other twitter users.

3. Socialize - It includes the retweeting, making friends and favorite some of user's tweets. 30-50 % of the people will do the favor too.

4. Tweets - You must post unique, original, funny and some witty quotes. It works for me!

1) You choose a topic to tweet about. Mine is quotes to live by and the music I like

2) Advertise your account whenever possible like I just did and offer a follow back

Like you I'm new to twitter and so need a bit of help getting started, if you tweet to a celebrity and somehow convince them to follow you you'll get a hell of alot of followers. (I've never done it so I can't guarantee it works)

3) Follow your close friends, they'll follow you back for sure

4) Connect ALL your accounts to twitter.
