How do I make the popular page on Instagram?

I have 917 followers and my account is @conorsmitty. I have used instagram for almost a year now, and I am still unsure of efficient ways to gain followers. Please help

First: I laughed at the fist answer lol kinda seems true!

Second: if you seriously want the pop page there are a couple of things.
•do not use a bunch of hashtags. Contrary to what people think it makes it harder. You have to get the minimum of 300 likes from people NOT following you (which is retarded bc if you don't use tags for people to find you how are you supposed to get the pop page??). The more hashtags you use the more likes you will have to receive to make it.

You also have to have at least 1k followers & have your account established for at least 3 months being active.

Also 20% of your own followers have to like the picture.

The last thing is the most obvious: speed. Within the first 90 minutes people must like your picture. But generally of your making the pop page on the regular, it shouldn't take more than like 8 minutes. (I suggest you turn your phone off for the first 10).


All this comes from experiencing it & google lol. I own 6 accounts. My personal has reached the pop page only once (a pray for Cancer post) although it has 12.1k followers (I use hashtags a lot). I bought one with 24k from someone giving it away like a month ago (cost me 200 bucks but I did it bc I needed another account to grow my business with.) From hitting the pop page with that one I've gained from 24k to 109k in less than a month & helped my others get a combo of 4k followers from shout outs. It hits the pop page everyday but not every post (i do 3 times a day at the most).My last successful one has 15k but has never hit the pop page. My 3 other have less than 8.2k combines as they are just random tumblr ones I don't use much than once or twice a week when I'm bored. I don't get more than 500 likes without tags using any of them.

Try & post when your followers are more active & on. I.E. during mid day, after school, after 5 if your older bc of work. Don't expect pop page if your posting at night or early morning. The most obvious thing is to not be on private. Kinda obvious but you wouldn't believe how many private people still use insane amounts of hashtags..

Another tip would be to post quality pictures!! If your a girl & attractive, trust me, that gets you a lot of followers from selfies alone. I posted a bathing suit picture & got around 500 followers in that day alone. I eventually took it down bc it was attracting followers I don't want. Wasn't slutty at all either so you catch my drift. Idk what guys post though but I personally follow pop page accounts with people my age, tattoos on guys, tumblr pictures, hair, lookbooks, things like that. Again. Not sure what guys like. I'm 17 & female by the way. so post what appeals to your age group & gender? People tend to like videos more than pictures lately. Mainly stenetic videos. When in doubt, post food!!

well you need more followers. get shoutouts from big accounts they sell them. Then you have chance i have created so many accounts and sold them.I hit pop page the 2nd day. SO get more followers. or buy an established account
