Why is Yahoo showing such little regard and respect for it's customers? First the homepage gets changed with NO notice....attitude toward customers is that Yahoo doesn't care at all. Now this...please fix this nightmare issue. The pages make email manageable...the one long page is horrible and incredibly difficult to work with creating a time and management nightmare. Please listen to us and fix this or give us back the option how we organize our mail.

I just found the same problem. I tried switching browsers from Chrome to Firefox and it is the same. Also there is a weird new arrow icon near the bottom the page that acts as a CNTRL/Home. And also too, is the disappearance of the page scroll slider at the extreme right of the page. This is a mess. Old emails cannot be accessed. I tried to find Help via chat and that seems to be no longer offered. In the past, the chat sessions always solved my problems. The usual problem was having the Search function for emails no longer working. They always fixed that.
I know that this is no answer, but I just wanted to add support to the original question because our email is now almost impossible to use. An hour or so later: OK, I just found the problem. This is deliberate and bad. I just found this here: http://www.ymailblog.com/blog/2013/06/qu… I've copied and pasted below. Notice that it was done late yesterday and that is when we began seeing the problem. I say it looks bad because our email in now almost unmanageable. I find it hard to believe that our long-trusted email is now almost unusable. I hope they correct this otherwise I will have to go to another email handler client. Mail When you’re looking for the party invitation your friend sent you yesterday or the coupon you received from your favorite store last weekend, sometimes it’s easiest to just scroll back through your messages to find what you’re looking for. Beginning today, you can effortlessly navigate your Yahoo! Mail inbox by scrolling through hundreds of messages at a time. To jump back to the top of your message list, click on the gray arrow in the lower-right corner that follows you as you scroll down the page. And to get to the earliest or most recent message in the list, simply sort by date in the menu above your inbox." Ads |

It appears to be their new ugly design.
http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-New-Y...793.shtml: "With infinite scrolling, there are no longer pages in your inbox. Press the arrow button if you need to go back." How stupid. What about users having hundreds or thousands emails in the inbox or other folder? I would suggest moving to Google Mail. Maybe they care more about their users than Yahoo does... |
