why cant i send pictures on facebook through message or post things on my timeline?

I used to be able to do this a couple a days ago on internet explorer but now it fills the bar up like a tiny bit and then never any more even for hours, Google chrome it never lets me do so, it says it uploading and then it stops completely and shows that I never picked a photo so send or post, ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE. I need to be able to send pictures to my friends through messages and on my timeline PLEASE PLEASE

I see you have a problem uploading pictures to your timeline or on a message to a friend. This happens on cell phones too. Anyways, I really don't believe Facebook is the problem itself. I think the problem might be that your Internet is running slow. So it might try to upload a picture to your Facebook but since it's quite slow it doesn't finish processing it. You should probably contact your Internet service provider to see what kind of speed you have and if they have slowed if down. Companies slow your Internet after using it a whole lot.

Honestly I am not sure what might be causing that but what is mentioned above seems that it might be something to look at.
