If I tagg myself in a friend's photo will it appear as "My name" tagged himself in "friend's" photo? Or wil it appear normally as "(me) was tagged in John Smith's photo"?

To others, it will come up in their News Feed as "[your name] was tagged in ____'s photo". However if they click on the photo and hover the mouse over your tagged name, it will say "tagged by [your name]". Your friend will also be sent a notification that you tagged yourself.
