ok when your on Facebook through your phone?

Or computer and see that people are online when your on the computer will it show the green icon if someone is on the computer and will it show a green icon if someone is using there phone like if I'm on my phone it shows active friends and if I go into someone's profile it shows the green icon and when I go on the computer it shows the green icon to so how do I tell if that person is using a computer or cell phone

Usually if someone is on their phone using the official Facebook app, then it will have a little symbol of a phone next to their name and a number with the letter 'm' which represents how long they have been online for.

A green circle just means they are online, you won't be able to tell if they are on their phone without the phone symbol.
