How can you take instagram photos?

I've seen some nice photos in the Internet my friends had it how can you have it ? Is it from the camera or iphone?

you should have a idevice (iPhone iPod iPad etc..) you should have the app downloaded, you have to sign up after your done there should be a 5 bars on the bottom click the 3 bar it should be blue look at the bottom and there should be a camera and a button to go to your photo roll and after you chose which picture you want you can edit photos

Instagram is an app for iPhone. I'm not sure if you can get it for the iPad or not. But you take a photo and then add a 'filter' to it, there are various one's and you can also add a 'tilt shift' type effect to it (although it actually doesn't look much like tilt shift).
