Why do people tweet so much compared to posting on facebook?

people sometiems just post random thoughts on their mind or what they want to do, and they have words lkike #missyou or #summer2013, they also make a lot more quick videos, does anybody understand this, and why do people tweet so much more than making facebook posts,'
people also seem to swear more on twitter
what about twitter is differetn from facebook?

twitter is meant for phones, so there is a character limit... people who have real computers use facebook, and people who only use their phones use twitter
