Does facebook show others when you made a custom post?

I notice that when I hover over the little gear option (which pops up whenever someone makes a custom post, which I dont like because it makes people look like you got a secret) it shows the names of the people you hid the post from. Can others see this?

Depends on what you have your permissions set to and security settings . If its set to just your friends and not friends of friends or everyone (on Facebook) Usually one sets it to just your friends see the posts .
