friend request on facebook?
On Tuesday I got an email saying that a friend request had been accepted from a person I did not know .. who I know did not add as a friend.. I thought my daughter may have added this person by mistake on my account but she has not done this & she has received a friend request from this person.. the next morning when i clicked onto this persons profile they had unfriended me. I suspect that it is my ex b.f as he knows that I have met someone else and he trying to find out more.. How has he managed to do this as he did not know my password and how can i go about report this to facebook i cannot see any links that allow me to give specific info.. I think what he has done is illegal

1st of all you don't know it's your ex for sure so it could be anyone.. without sending a friend request if he have add you as friend then you should have been hacked.. maybe there's some key logger is installed on your computer and if so, the person is watching you.. what you do, what you type, what you see.. So, install a good virus guard, if there's already a virus guard then update it and run a full scan. If you don't, Just download some good virus guard, AVG is good and it's free .. After the virus scan change your password. and to report the person go to this link FB help center link http://www.facebook.com/help/263149623790594 and choose the appropriate violation and you will get the information how to report. If you are sure there's no key loggers installed in you computer then change your password, maybe it's too easy to guess .. make a strong password.

You don't need any password to send a friend request for a start.

Also if it was him, he hasn't done anything illegal whatsoever.

Your also wasting your time trying to contact FB because they wont
do anything as nothing illegal has taken place.

Unless you have a Court Restraining order on him then
there's nothing you can do about it.
